THIS IS AMERICA IN 2019 — where mounted police officers in Galveston, Texas led a handcuffed black man with a rope tied to him. The Galveston Police Department defended the actions of officers P. Brosch and A. Smith claiming, “they did not have any malicious intent” and refused to say if they will receive any disciplinary actions.

The police chief of Galveston, Tex., apologized to the suspect and said two of his officers had caused the man embarrassment.

  2. Unconscionable. It did exactly what they wanted to do; it made them judge;jury and executioner if they had gotten an iota of a chance. They know they can do that now in the age of Trump.
